Tammy
is the Mother of Tori, Kati, & Lexi. She started playing
Bass in January, 2006. She loves getting to play music
with her family. Watching her girls "Shine" on stage has
been like living in a dream for her.
John
is the Dad of Tori, Kati, & Lexi. He has played guitar at
home with the girls for years, but, until March, 2006, never
played out with the girls. He started playing in the group
in March, 2006 and has enjoyed being rhythm guitarist, sound
man, "bus" driver, & road crew for the group. He loves
getting to see his girls show the world what they are so great
at.
Our newest member of the band is
Kevin Harris. Kevin lives in Russellville, AL with his
wife Kim. Kevin has been playing banjo for several years.
He also plays guitar, mandolin and bass.
Lexi
is the youngest "Huntley Sister" at 6 years old. She
started taking banjo lessons in October, 2007.
She loves to clog and be around everyone at all of the festivals
and churches that we go to. In 2006, Lexi took 2nd in
Clogging at Lincoln County Bluegrass. In 2007, Lexi took
3rd at Summertown Bluegrass Reunion and 3rd at Rogersville

Our Music Life
Hi, my name is Tori Faith
Huntley, the oldest Huntley Sister. I am 12 years old.
My sister, Kati, is 9.
I decided I wanted to
play the fiddle and started playing and taking lessons when I
was five in Lawrenceburg, TN by a man named Andy Spearman.
As soon as I started taking lessons I took an immediate liking
to it. When I got a little older I started going to local
bluegrass festivals and pickin around a little
bit. When I was about seven, I started taking clogging lessons
in Summertown, TN by Kim Matheny and I became really
attached. I started doing other festivals in Tennessee, like
Lincoln County and Smithville! I love doing competitions, even
if I don't win anything it is still fun for me.
After a few years of
playing my sister, Kati, joined in and started playing the
guitar with me. And after she got good enough to play my Kenny
Baker songs we started getting bookings for charity events and
little shows. But now we've grown in a lot of ways, not just in
our bookings but Kati and I both have grown in the level we are
playing music on. When I was nine, we started going to a jam session in our local Wal-Mart in the McDonald's part. So now
every Tuesday night from six to eight we jam. We've made lots of
friends everywhere we've gone. At McDonald's we met a man that
started playing with us when we played local shows but, recently
we've had a change in our "band". My Mom got a stand up bass
and Dad got a guitar, so they have been playing with us almost
everywhere we go.
We have a great time playing and being together as a family.
I now play fiddle, mandolin, guitar, stand up bass, along with a
little banjo and dobro. Kati plays guitar, mandolin and is
learning fiddle. Our little sister, Lexi, is 4 and wants
to play the banjo. She also has a small guitar and fiddle.
We love to sing and are taking singing lessons from Yvonne
Sanson in Greenhill, AL. She has helped us a lot with our
harmonies and vocals. We hope to begin a new CD soon that
has us singing on it.
We love meeting new musicians and people everywhere we go.
If you see us out pickin, please come by and say hello.
We'd love to meet you.
